get to know Michael Neil
My passion is helping businesses and nonprofits tell their unique story to increase revenue, deepen engagement, foster brand loyalty, and gain new clients/customers/donors/volunteers. I amp up their story to achieve elevated results.
My professional background spans leadership roles in marketing, business development, and product development from startups to the Fortune 500. I’ve led large and small teams to exceptional achievement and recognition through corporate and industry awards. I’ve launched multi-channel marketing and sales campaigns that generated billions of dollars, created software products, transformed an entire industry (with social media), improved organizational processes to save millions, and am a patent author for inventing an internet service.
My greatest successes were for entrepreneurial organizations within large corporations or with start-ups and mission-driven non-profits. In fact, it was in high school that I first began my entrepreneurial drive starting a cleaning business and selling products at rock concerts. This continued during my college years at Syracuse University. Other entrepreneurial businesses I started at various stages of life were in the fields of consumer software, internet services, and real estate. I’m deeply committed to community and that began in my teens serving in leadership roles within my high school and an international youth movement.
Currently, I serve as a board member of the largest volunteer-driven nonprofit in the Greater Philadelphia area committed to ending food insecurity and providing meaningful volunteer experiences. I’ve raised millions of dollars for various causes, helped launch an educational curriculum overseas, created innovative marketing and branding campaigns, implemented novel social service programs and pretty cool technologies to support them. I'm an award-winning photographer and the images on this site are all my work. My wife and I live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with our teenage kids. We’re big supporters of summer camp, finding the best barbecue, travel, superhero films, our favorite sports teams, live music, and dogs. Since the pandemic, we volunteered with Res-Q-Pets, a local non-profit rescue agency, and fostered over 130 dogs, and helped them find their forever homes. I'm currently a parent-coach of the Pennsbury Ultimate Frisbee Club, a top 20-ranked high school team. Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mjneil/
